How AMLify came to be
AMLify was created by Consultin AI Pty Ltd, an AI company founded by a practitioner with deep roots in financial services. Our founder spent years inside major financial institutions and fintechs across Australia and overseas, navigating the real-world complexity of AML/CTF compliance — the costly consultants, the static Word documents, the spreadsheet-based risk assessments that are outdated before the ink is dry.
When Tranche 2 was legislated in late 2025, it was clear that the 100,000 Australian DNFBPs affected — lawyers, accountants, real estate agents, precious metals dealers, and virtual asset service providers — could not afford the traditional approach to compliance. The same obligations that cost a major bank millions to implement now apply to sole practitioners and small firms with no compliance team at all.
