What's the difference between Starter and Professional?

Professional is for firms that need more seats (20 vs 5), an unlimited customer book (vs 50), five times the AI credits, and four times the included KYC checks at a lower per-check rate — with priority support.

Is KYC verification included, or charged per check?

Both — each plan includes a monthly allowance, with a modest per-check rate beyond that. Starter includes 10 KYC and 5 KYB checks a month (then $12 + GST per KYC and $40 + GST per KYB check); Professional includes 40 KYC and 15 KYB (then $10 and $35 + GST). One KYC check covers a whole person — verify their passport and licence, or re-run after a correction, and it still counts once for the month. ABN lookups don't count at all — they're free and unlimited on every plan. You're never blocked mid-onboarding — checks beyond the allowance simply appear on your next invoice.

Does every customer use up a KYC check?

No. Recording customers, collecting and manually verifying their ID documents, and screening them against sanctions and PEP lists is all included in your plan, unlimited. A KYC check is only consumed when you run an electronic DVS verification — matching an ID document against government records — which a risk-based program typically reserves for high-risk or non-face-to-face customers. One DVS-verified person counts once per month, no matter how many of their documents you check.

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from the Settings page. When upgrading, you will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the billing period. When downgrading, your new rate applies at the next billing cycle.
